You work in a power plant. The fire alarm goes off and everyone from the building begins to evacuate. A voice comes over the loud speaker stating that this is not a drill for all staff to quickly leave the building immediately.
People start to panic. You are still on the fourth floor. You head down the stairs, it's crowded with frightened people. You look for an alternate stairway, there's one down the hallway near the cafeteria. You open the door and the stairwell is empty. You sigh with relief as you bolt down the stairs.
The forth floor becomes the third floor, the third becomes the second, and finally the second becomes the first; safety. You put your hand on the door, it's hot. But safety is so close and you open it anyways, a decision you highly regret. The door blows open sending you flying back along with a gust of fierce flames. All you remember is the intense heat overpowering your body and tearing apart your skin.
You wake up in the hospital. The doctors ask you if you feel any pain, you're speechless. You're speechless because your body is in too much pain to even describe. You overhear doctor speaking to the nurse. The only words you make out is "amputate, leg, and arm." Not only are you speechless again, but you are scared and just want to know whats going on.
*If you were to lose a limb, whether it would be an arm or a leg, which one would you rather lose? Which of the two would you feel you would able to adapt to the easiest?
